We were contacted by the homeowners of this lakefront craftsman home to design a 2-car garage with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom above it.  In addition, the back deck and a few spaces within the home will be remodeled.

On the boards, Autumn 2019...the design for this modern home located in the countryside of Albemarle, NC, was inspired by the openness of land, ever-changing sun position throughout the year, the prevailing winds which can be harsh at times for prolonged durations, and our client's need for an open and fun environment throughout the home.  The home had to invite the outdoors and by creating several different punches in the exterior facade using a combination of windows and doors, we can accomplish this.  Roof forms are shaped to invite and reject the sun's light and warmth into the home at the needed times throughout the year
